Price

¥132,000

A one-of-a-kind made to order pure silver (99.9%) guinomi sake cup by a traditional silversmith, 白銀師 (shiroganeshi) Mr. Souhaku Kamikawa.

Guinomi sake cups are traditionally used when drinking Japanese sake, and is characterized by being slightly bigger than a ochoko (Japanese shot size), allowing consumers to enjoy sake for more than one gulp.

Once an order is received, it takes approximately 3 weeks for your item to be made from a single sheet of silver plate.

Why Pure Silver?
Silver tableware was used historically in formal settings as a way to prevent poisoning of food and drinks, as the material changes color with different chemical reactions.
Nowadays, silver tableware is used, as the material itself has antibacterial properties that prevents food poisoning.

※ As every single cup is handmade and made to order, the products may look slightly different from the pictures above.
